My husband daughter and I stayed in a three bedroom apartment for three nights. The location of the Mantra Zanzibar couldn't be better, across the road from the beach and close to shops. We didn't need to get the car out. There are wonderful restaurants and cafes in the area. The unit we stayed in was really large, clean and well equipped with a wonderful view, although the kitchen was starting to look a little tired. The lady at reception was so friendly and helpful, the whole process was a breeze. I would highly recommend at stay at Zanzibar.

Stayed for 4 nights in unit 304 - wow, what a view! The reservation and checkin process (Jacky) was friendly and efficient. Our apartment was ready in the morning so we had an early checkin, which is always a bonus on holidays. Furniture all looked relatively new and the apartment was spotless and well equipped - even had a coffee plunger and beach towels. Beds were comfortable, however the aircon did not seem to be working effectively so the nights were a bit too warm. The only drawback to this property is that the pool is at the back of the building overlooking a carpark but having said that the pool was very clean and the area well maintained, including a couple of BBQ's and large shade sail with table and chairs. Not once did we have to use our car, everything was in walking distance, even Coles for our grocery supplies. Loved Zanzibar, will definitely be back.

Booked 2 apartments for 10 people, was allocated refurnished units at third floor. 3 bedroom was a corner unit with no form of views except from the balcony. New fridge is definitely needed in 306, a layer of dust on the bedside table in the main room too. Other than that, it is centrally located with beautiful views from balcony. Not to forget, thumbs up to the ladies at reception as they have been helpful. Unless there is a great deal, if not i will pay a little more for other resorts around the same area.

Paid big bucks for a 3 bed apartment. Needed central position as one of our party elderly. Apartment is getting shabby. Needs newer dishwasher and other appliances. Why was there polystyrene bits all over the hallways? Love how handy it is, but disappointed by the unit.
