Recently stayed in Unit 11 in the Resort Apartments, Ground Floor. Garden View I was told! There was a view of the beautifully maintained tropical gardens, we also had views of The Passage, Bribie, Morton Bay Island and the boating lanes....FANTASTIC. The room was two bedroom, two bathroom and seperate toilet. Very spacious. There is a wide verandah with easy access to the pool, BBQ area, games room and gym. Being the father of two teenage boys, I was told that the games room and gym were "OK", I believe that means good. The rear security gate is metres away with quick access to the boardwalk, beaches and restaurants. As previously stated by other reviews, a short stroll to restaurants, coffee shops, cinema, beaches, and retail stores. We drove up and down the "Sunshine Coast" during our stay, there is so much to do and so much to see. Thanks to Leanne & Tracey in Reception, so helpful.
We enjoyed ourselves, its unfortunate that so many people visit these places and wish to sit in their rooms, then vent disappointment. Can't they stay at home? Grand Pacific you won me!

Had 4 night midweek stay in room 20, which would have to have one of the best views I have ever had from a room. The unit itself was roomy, clean and tidy and offered everything we needed. The staff in reception were extremely friendly and helpful. The pool area is fantastic and very well maintained. The location is ideal, being a short stroll to beach, cafe's and restaurants and shops, no need to use the car at all if you don't want to. Will definitely stay here again.

We spent last week at Breakfree Grand Pacific - we were very excited that we had waterfront views overlooking the pool in the resort area. Great location but the unit was so dissappointing the bed was so hard I was pleased we had only booked for five nights I considered going home a night earlier it was so bad. The rooms are very tired and was not what we woullconsider clean. Sorry even though we loved the location we won't be back.

We had previously stayed at the Grand Pacific and had thoroughly enjoyed it. What a difference a year makes. The room with the Garden View actually looked onto the wall of the apartments in front of us( I guess someone has to get them).Everything in the apartment was tired and the standard of cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The most disappointing aspect was that the 3 bedroom apartment in the tower did not have aircon in two of the bedrooms.When we enquired about this we were told that not all apartments had full aircon and that we should have requested it.Silly me ! It was also pointed out that there were fans that we could use . It turned out that only 1 pedestal fan worked and for that reason we closed up one of the rooms and only used 2 of the bedrooms.We will not go back next year and probably not ever again.Shame really.
