Overall its a nice quite resort, we had a spa room and it. Was nice the parking is great you can practically park belowyour room. Service was ok ...I might be a bit picky hear but when my room has been serviced at other hotels it seemed they went to more trouble ie put left out drinks in fridge picked up clothes extra but maybe that was a special effort and is generally not expected silly me.
I must heavily fault the fees however when u aricve they take a pre autherisation payment credit card, fair enough it was the price of stay plus 50$ ...after I checked out I was asked to pay for the hotel did I want it out of the card long story short they take 5+ days to put that money back even after taking the full payment ...in short this 300 dollar accommodation cost me nearly$ 700 so if u can't affored to be out of pocket twice watch them and don't use credit cards! Including debit.
Also word of warning the hotel restaurant and bar doesn't open Sundays or Mondays very dissapiintibg as we went for only three days never experienced it. So a little dissapointing :-(

We were on our anniversary weekend away, and it was not the best weather days, windy, salty, rainy and sweaty, but that's life! The passage ways are worn out, I don't even remember where I was, but it was a walk from reception. Very dated rooms, but big and nice big beds. there was no milk in the fridge when we arrived, had to phone HK twice before it arrived. AC was good, view was towards the little lagoon pool and on the top floor. I think I called and asked for something like that, don't think it mattered. receptionist was friendly. located in a nice corner and close to stockland. I wish the rooms were a bit more modernly done up. felt like its my 10th anniversary and not first..having said that, one of the best cocktails and pasta i have tasted. Food was yummy.If you want average comfort and good food, stay here.

We stayed on 25th of January as a family of two adults and two (almost) teenage children. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, and the two bedroom apartment was clean and generally well appointed.

The pool timber decking area is in need of some much needed maintenance, but otherwise is a great place for a swim and a cold drink. The hot breakfast was nice, and the buffet selection was what I would describe as adequate.

Overall this facility is great for families looking for conveniently located accommodation in the Caloundra area. It isn't really at the stereotypical resort standard, but on this occasion was more than adequate for my families needs.

We stayed at this property in a 2 bedroom unit so we could go to Australia Zoo. It served its purpose as we just used it for sleeping. However, everything was old and it wasn't overly comfortable. The pool was very warm when we got there in the evening which made us feel ill. I was disapointed that we had to park our car so far way from our unit. We did have our own kitchen which was good so we old cook our own dinners and the staff were friendly. The Rydges Priority Club is great to give you discounts. The name makes this property sound lovely but it's not what I expected.
