My husband and I had spent many holidays on the Gold Coast prior to having a family, however, this was the first time visiting the Gold Coast for our children aged 7, 11 and 15 and we could not have asked for a better introduction. The family apartment we stayed in (a 2 plus 1) was simply amazing. Very clean with ample room (even for our 15 year old teenage daughter)!!!
We stayed for a week visiting the Theme parks and catching up with friends. The location was perfect, close to all amenities with everything we required being within easy walking distance.
Staff at the hotel were extremely professional, helpful and approachable. We are already planning to return and would definitely recommend this resort to anyone with a family.

We were on a corner over looking the highway and above the outside Tavern Smokers Bar. The screaming and yelling went on till 2.00am Friday night by the Patrons from the Tavern and there was nobody to complain to as Reception closes at 5.30pm.
We never asked for this room -told we were upgradd - Hah - would think staff are well aware of the noise. We stayed 7 nights and got very little leep each night.
The door leading out to the balcony could not be kept open as the noise was so loud you could not talk or hear the TV at a normal sound level. There is aslo a Bus Turning area right under that corner and these Buses appeard to run all night.
This is my second stay at the Complex and it is very sad to say we would not stay at that resort again.

Absolutely awesome resort. Room was spotless with modern fixtures, great location within walking distance to everything. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Pool was fantastic, couldn't keep the kids out. Would absolutely stay again, without hesitation. Can not fault a thing.

We stayed at Swell in March and had a disappointing experience. The room we were allocated had a filthy toilet,kitchen and the road noise was terrible. Documentation from the previous occupant was in the bedside table and lables from clothing purchases were left in the wardrobe. Having brought these problems to the staff we were allocated another room away from the noise and supposedly clean.The kitchen was once again dirty - how do you miss tomato seeds on the kitchen counter. Over it by this stage so diidn't bring it to the staff attention yet again. Old TV, uncomfortable sofa. Really noisy birds at 5 am every morning in the pine trees nearby. Would not stay here ever again.
