We were searching for a place that could truly accommodate a disabled person in an electric wheelchair and found just what we were looking for, with magnificent views, at Peninsula Apartments. The management helped us to select the most suitable apartment which enabled us to use a hoist and shower chair without too much difficulty. We could also access the huge balcony with the wheelchair. Our two bedroom apartment could easily cater for six people and still have room to manoeuvre the wheelchair. The management were extremely helpful throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble.

My family booked a 3 bedroom penthouse, what an amazing experience. The view was absolutely amazing overlooking the marina. From the moment we walked through the door we did not want to leave. The penthouse is 5 star all the way and the staff were very helpful. It was hard to decide whether to fish off the rocks, enjoy the pool or just sit on our deck with a nice glass of wine while the turtles popped their heads up in the afternoon to say hello. It was an easy walk into town or the taxis were always prompt if we decided to be lazy. I really hope we get the chance to come back. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Peninsula for a week of bliss.. The view over the Marina and that magnificent colored Ocean is totally amazing. We were literally saying hi to the fishermen on their boats. We could see Turtles & Rays swimming by. The apartment was fantastic. It had everything we needed. Lots of space for 5 of us. It was beautifully appointed and felt like home, but with a better view !! It's fab for families however the pool was cold. There is nothing bad I can say about our stay there.(Only the pool being cold) which is being a little precious.. It was one of our most relaxing holidays. The Balcony is fantastic and gave the kids space to play and boat watch. Highly recommend staying there. We defiantly will return.

My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic 10 days over the Christmas & New Year period 2011/2012 at the spectacular Peninsula Airlie Beach, a truly 5 star complex with stunning 'as new' waterfront apartments with amazing views of the islands and marina. The picturesque marina has direct and easy access to the beautiful Whitsunday Islands and is literally on the door step.
We were helped on numerous occasions by the resident managers John and Sandy who were always happy to go the extra mile and to advise and arrange trips which we booked at reception, and had a great experience on all,
As regular visitors to Airlie Beach, Peninsula with its security and well kept tropical gardens gives the tranquility to match the best (and biggest) apartments we have stayed in at Airlie Beach, The outlook over the marina and islands doesn't get any better than this and the relaxed feel of the whole place is evident from day one.
