“Fantastic View”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 December 2011

We stayed three nights at Myaura during our vacation at the east coast of Australia.
The view is amazing and it was a lot of fun to see and feed the Kookaburras. We had a relaxing afternoon at the beautful (whirl)pool. Nice balcony where we enjoyed our cheese platter and a bottle of wine in the evening aswell as the breakfast. Fruit for breakfast would have been nice. The furnishing and decoration of the rooms is special and was not our taste and a solid door between the bathroom and bedroom would be nice.

“Kookaburras and breathtaking views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2011

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Myaura while we were visiting the Whitsunday Islands. The B&B is within walking distance to downtown Airlie and also perfect for visiting the Islands. Lesley served us a wonderful appetizer platter and glass of wine upon arrival, a welcome treat after our long drive. Our room was clean and comfortable, the bed a bit on the firm side. Lesley provided us with food so that we could feed the Kookaburras when they arrived in the late afternoon, another wildlife thrill for me during my trip to Oz.

“Fabulous hospitality and great views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 November 2011

Stayed here for five nights whilst working in the area. Was extremely hot when I first arrived and was met by Lesley who told me there was a beer and some wine in the fridge and a cheese platter to help myself too and by god the beer was welcome! The platter was a really nice touch and Lesly made me a couple more whilst I was there which were greatfully devoured!

Impeccably clean room (I stayed in the 'Harmony' room) and had some great sleep - quiet location and comfy bed with the essential air con...

Compared with the other standard average motels/backpackers on offer in the area this was head and shoulders above the rest. I defy anyone to sit on the deck overlooking the beautiful scenery and not feel totally relaxed. Top marks.

“Easy going B&B with great views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2011

Lesley & Alan made us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. The tastiest cheese/antipasto complimentary platter we've experienced with a glass of Chardonnay. Top nosh! Cute & compact en-suite bathroom. Large bed was firm & comfy, we both got a relaxing night’s sleep. Casual checkout time was opportune after a late night watching two complimentary DVDs (another bonus). The view from our front balcony during continental breakfast was stunning. Highly recommended. Cheers, Ben & Teresa

“view good room let it down”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

Was welcomed by the owners with a brief tour of the room and breakfast in the fridge. Very basic, but clean. The bed was very uncomfortable and in need of a new mattress. I thought the price was expensive, compared to other places we had stayed in on our tour along the East coast.
