Our Oz trip of a lifetime stay in the Whitsunday Islands was fantastic. Pool, view and lovely room and shared lounge and breakfast balcony. Arrived in October for only two full days and hit perfect weather. Our great host Steve recommended the reef trip one day followed by the smaller boat trip to Whitehaven Beach and bbq. Superb. Tried scuba diving for the first time. Amazing.

I stayed here for 1 night with a friend whilst driving up the east coast. A beautifully located, friendly, spacious home away from home. The guest living area, balcony and roomy bedrooms make you feel at home but with a better view! The room is large with a very comfy king bed and good sized ensuite. Perfectly located a short walk into town to sample the local seafood.
Breakfast was perfectly proportioned and Karen offered her local knowledge over coffee.

We only had the privelege of staying at Island View one night before heading out on a sailing trip the next morning. Our room was right off the main lobby with a magnificent view and very spacious room, especially the bathroom and shower. It was a short 10 minute walk in to town. Jen was standing in for Karen and did a wonderful job. She served us a breakfast of cereal, toast, fruit, juice and coffee on the patio overlooking the ocean and was so sweet! Felt like we were visiting friends. The rare thing was getting free internet! And you can't beat the price for the service and location!

After a very bad motel experience in Airlie Beach, we were lucky enough to find Island View B&B and what a find it was. Steve and Karen were very relaxed, welcoming hosts to their very modern, very clean home with a stunning view over the bay. Very comfortable king size bed and large room added to the experience. Certainly we would highly recommend this property to anyone travelling to Airlie Beach. It's situated high above the main street amongst lush gardens. Loved it! Sue & Rodger, Adelaide
