We stayed at the Whitsunday resort for 3 x days on our way up to Townsville. We originally booked it as 'mystery accomodation' through Wotif.com, so had no idea about the resort.
The apartments are extremely clean and very comfortable with everything included. The only negative thing I could point out is the lack of ventilation in the bathroom, very hot and sticky during the humid part of the year. After a shower had to go out into the living room to dry off and get dressed, not a biggie if your with family. We swam in the pool every day and was very impressed with the pool/bbq area. For those that are keen, the resort is a good walk from downtown Airlie. But only a 2 x minute drive. Nice and peaceful.

this hotel was about 15min max walk into town which was fine for me and my partner. we had a room with a spa looking out over the balcony which was good too! the thai resturant is definately worth going to. Staff were very helpfull and friendly.

We stayed here in December 2011 and had an apartment with large sitting/kitchen/dining room with a separate bathroom and bedroom, double bed. The kitchen had a full size cooker/oven/fridge with microwave. There was a sofa and chair, TV, a balcony with table and chairs, there were 2 wardrobes and a bath with shower. Between our apartment and the next was a free laundry room, washing machine and tumble dryer, you only supplied the powder. Although our apartment overlooked the building of the new harbour and a roundabout, it was not noisy at night. The balcony door had a fly screen and there were ceiling fans and air conditioning. It's a short walk into the main town or the bus stops outside. There is a supermarket nearby. Having been traveling for several weeks it was wonderful to cook our own food and relax in the evening. Small pool and jacuzzi on site and underground parking. Staff were very helpful. We ended up staying an extra night it was so nice

My Parents and i have always wanted to stay here on our visit to Airlie Beach over the years.
It certainly didn't disappoint. Great view over the newly developed harbour. We were on the 3rd floor with a view of the pool, it looked small from above but once in it rather large and nice and deep. Shallow area for toddlers too. Easy walk into the centre of Airlie or enjoy a hike up the back hill for more exercise challenge. Unit is nice and spacious, comfortable, good size fridge, for 2 adults and 2 kids under 10. Santa even managed to find us and the reindeers had enough room on the balony. My parents had a smaller room but was suffice for 2 people and a great view. We booked a day trip from reception to Hamilton Island, received a discount and were collected from the front of the door by bus. Great service.
The only issues we had were guests staying below us using bad language in the pool and broke a bottle but the resident managers were onto that pronto. Our A/C had a hiccup but that was resolved quickly. We even scored a bottle of bubbly for Christmas from them. Will stay again in the future.
