Ugh. This place was terrible! We were booked in by a travel agent as a package to Frasier Island, and we were very unimpressed. The rooms were dirty and smelled bad, and there were roach traps in the rooms. I didn't even want to use the shower it was that bad (and I've stayed in some sketchy places!).
The kitchen was alright, and there were good sized cheap meals at the bar. The desk staff were not particularly helpful with things unless you nagged at them for information.
When we returned from our Frasier Island self drive tour, we kept our stuff in a friends dorm while we waited for our bus. Turns out there are slightly nicer large dorm rooms on the opposite end of the property. These rooms do not have ensuite bathrooms, but rather slightly cleaner communal bathrooms. So if you have to stay here you should request a room by the pool.
