Helpful and happy staff make or break the stay. Daryl and Sue were great! We had a one bed apartment that was comfortable and clean. It was also much bigger than I expected so there is room to move. Alassio is right on the beach (up the north end) but tucked behind a cafe and a couple of shops so it's quiet. Definite for families. The pool is not massive but big enough and not full of 50 screaming kids (just our one squawking one). The spa on the deck was good too. Make sure you give it a good hour to heat up. I wouldn't rave about the beach itself anywhere along Palm Cove. Southern coast beaches are much more beautiful. And for god's sake don't risk the coffee at the cafe out the front if you are from Melbourne. Go down the southern end of Palm Cove to the Italian run restaurant.

The Alassio is fantastic we had a great room and the spa on the balcony is excellent. The entire complex is clean and well presented and the hosts are very helpfull.We will definately be comming back.

The Alassio Palm Cove is in a great location and is very easy to relax in. I am not sure I would recommend it for children under 5 as there was not a great deal of play areas. Would absolutely recommend it for couples or families with older kids

Sue and Darryl are fantastic people and definately help to make your stay comfortable. I use a wheelchair (mid level para) and have a young family and we coped. There is ramped access to the property ajoining the cafe, however the latches for the gates are kid safe and therefor very high. The room itself was fine and easy to get around although it maybe difficult for someone who uses an electric wheelchair due to tight turning spaces in the apartment

The only small negative was that there is an expectation after you use the initial supply of garbage bags and toilet paper that you supply your own. For a $200 plus a night property I though this was not right

Apartment was spotless and had all that we needed for our stay. We LOVED having our own Spa on the deck, and used it all the time.
What sets these apartments from all the others, has to be the people who run it, Sue and Daryl. They went out of their way for us, nothing was too much trouble. With their caring and friendly attitude, they will do well.
For these reasons, we'll be back!
