Made the booking more than a month before travelling and asked to be collected from the airport. The hotel's manager picked us up in a mini-van as arranged which was a very positive start to our visit. Check-in was completed very quickly and we were given keys and directions to our room located at the far end of the complex. The hotel's staff were very helpful at all times and nothing was too much trouble. All members of staff appear multi talented, including the manager, and I saw them performing a range of tasks. The hotel is located approximately 400 metres from the shopping precinct which is an easy walk if you don't mind the heat. The hotel's pool was cleaned every morning and towels very provided poolside for guests. The hotel takes security very seriously and the entire complex is surrounded by a fence with gates being locked betweeen 9:00pm and 6:00am each day. Guests are given a security code for access during these times. We had a full buffet breakfast as part of our booking and the cooked breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausages, hashbrowns, tomato, mushrooms on toast) was impressive. In fact, apart from a couple of small problems, the overall experience was very satisfactory. I did have trouble connecting to the hotel's wireless Internet, but the manager was very helpful and got me online a couple of times. The only other problem concerned the room not being serviced. It turned out that our room number was not listed on the housekeeper's list and we were missed twice in the first few days. Otherwise, the experience was good value for money and taking into account that our visit was at the beginning of the off-season.
