We stayed at this place twice and went for lunch two other times. We had miles of beautiful beach literally all to ourselves just outside the garden, and lots of fun bogie-boarding with the hotel's boards. The white wooden house rooms are simply decorated, with sand dollar pendants, and a homey feel. For dinner, guests can enjoy Marzia's delicious homemade Italian food, which can also be enjoyed at lunch. Seriously recommended.

Wonderful place in a quiet part of Las Terrenas, gorgeous beach, Playa Coson, very quiet and amazing waters and sand. The last bit of Coson beach to the west is simply amazing, no one there and amazing scenery. the hotel is really excellent, everything very convienient and the service was extraodinary. if you are a runner, the beach in front of the hotel is a great place to run 10km barefoot on a great setting. if you want quality relaxation in an excellent hotel, this might be the place in the Dominican Republic.

Marshia and Ivan have created a little bit of heaven about 15 minutes outside of Las Terrenas on Coson beach. We stayed for 4 nights and have nothing but wonderful things to say about this boutique lux hotel for not so lux a price. The rooms, the food, the service, the beach and the grounds are all top notch and all served with an attention to detail that is difficult to find.
Do yourselves a favor and enjoy a stay at this great location - we did!!!
