“last time going there”

I went to Alisei October 2011 with fiancee the hotel is nice and clean but the staff not so good, the food was so bad at the restaurant I went outside to eat that was the best decision food so much better out of the hotel. Here"s the fact the restaurant staff so cheap look what they did to my fiancee: we get at the hotel in a thursday everything is quit I kind of like it there since I'm not a crowd people guy. when wake up in the morning down to get some breakfast at the buffet I was amazed to see a buffet like that not in a good way though there was nothing at all just regular stuffs. as my fiancee like having her nice hot chocolate she went to ask and the server told her if she wanted chocolate she can just ask and the bring it to her and guess what happen when she ask they bring her the chocolate but the waitress she's the one that has to decide how chocolate for my fiancee to have she cant not have more than 2 spoon of it and you should see that spoon. ok tha was one thing is the other here come saturday morning I say well since I already pay for breakfast lets go down there again when we arrive there was a lot of people there and the buffet was was full of variety of food to eat not just friday morning, and I go AND say to my girl this is what Im talking about lololol ... Sunday morning same thing but the food was bad. here we go go down for breakfast in monday morning the buffet was I say where are the other stuffs I saw yesterday and nobody can give answer and then That was when I realised that on week days the hotel is not busy so so far for them not to waste food they dicide to save and give us crap at the buffet for us that already there if you want good food you got to wait when the weekend kick in that when they put out everything and the food was good anway I spend my whole time eating out and trust me way better. no service at all at the hotel all this is nothing compare how to get there OMG i think I was going to die that was my first time driving in a road like right they can pay me a million I will never go there nomore I wanted to go back when I saw the road i got to drive in to get there but my girl didnt want to because we already pay for everything and nothing is refundable so I dint have no choice But thank GOD we made go back home but Hotel Alisei in las terrenas domionican republic never againnnnnnn.

Room Tip: if you dont have a SUV you probably will not make it safe the raod is terrible and when finally get...

“A place to visit where you won't be disappointed...”

This apartment complex, is operated as a hotel, and it does meet the expectations of a seasoned traveler that wants to relax, and expects comfortable accommodations. The apartments are well maintained, the public areas are very clean, and the restaurant more than meets the expectations. A few steps away from a beautiful beach, and plenty of parking space, should you arrive by car.
In short, you will not receive any unpleasant surprises, which is the minimum one can expect during a vacation.
I certainly do recommend it, is just a shame that there are no elevators, because not everyone enjoys going up and down the stairs, if you happen to get a third floor apartment.

“Fantastic Place to Stay while Visiting Las Terrenas”

Our group stayed at Hotel Alisei for several nights during January 2012. We stayed in both a 2 bedroom unit facing the pool & a 1 bedroom unit facing the office/reception desk. The rooms are fantastic with comfortable beds and a/c's in the bedrooms, big fans in both the kitchen/living area and even outside on the terrace making it very comfortable. The bathrooms are very spacious, the kitchens have just about everything you would need. The only thing is they do not have microwaves or ovens so just cooktop and refrigerator of course. They provide a large water dispenser so you always have cold, clean water on hand....a very nice feature. Dining table inside as well as on the terrace in the 2 bedroom unit. Both terraces had a hammock for relaxing and an area for lounging. Terrific breakfast buffet included in the price at their restaurant on site, which is also open for lunch and dinner. Hotel is directly across from the beach and most rooms have some view of the ocean from the terrace. The pool was very nice and even had a swim up bar but I never actually saw it open (more people have to be on site before they open). The spa building looked beautiful, only wish we had time to enjoy their services. The beaches get better the further you go down the road, away from town but the beach area in front of the hotel is very nice too. The free internet on site was great when we were on the right side facing the pool but was terrible when we were on the left side facing the office/restaurant, we had to be in a certain place on the terrace to get internet. The staff are all very nice and very accomodating. Short walk to restaurants and shops. A bit pricey but if you are looking for the little extras, this place will feel like home.

Room Tip: If internet is an issue while you are away....some rooms get awesome connection while others get ter...

“Can't go wrong staying here”

We stayed her over Christmas and were able to get the last room available - the penthouse room. Sounds great, but really just one room with a small balcony (no kitchen, but did have a fridge). This particular room set-up is meant as a 2nd or 3rd bedroom for one of the other apartments. It is clean, simple and ok considering the whole area was sold out. I would certainly consider coming back to this property but would stay in one of the larger rooms with a sizeable balcony, etc. Nice pool, nice location, decent breakfast.

Room Tip: Skip the 1BR Penthouse and stay in the larger units.

“Great Location!”

Stayed here for 3 nights, very impressive room. We got a big balcony facing the ocean and it has a hammock, couch and dining! it was just fantastic for a family stay(2 adults and kid). We didn't use the kitchen, but loved the option of having accommodation with living, kitchen, room and 2 balconies!
The beach is also fabulous, at this time of the year there were fewer tourists and this location was ideal for us to get to other parts of Las Terrenas.
We only had breakfast here and it was quite decent.
