We booked a cabin stay for one night, at a discount rate available through the internet. The lady at the reception was very friendly and was happy to help with our tourist queries and bookings. The Resort is at the end of Katherine township which leads to Nitmiluk National Park, so it is quite conveniently located.
The cabin itself, while clean and spacious, was quite old, although the appliances like the fridge and microwave, looked new. One light was flickering and needed replacement, and the air con unit had a lot of trouble cooling down the space. Even though the hotel brochure said that the bistro would be open from 7am onwards on weekends, it was closed when we went to check it out. Mind you, on a Sunday most of Katherine's businesses seemed to be closed as well, so it seems to be a trend, though it made the business of getting something to eat a bit of a drama.
While each cabin has its own shower and toilet, they are built separately and are not attached to the cabin. It was something we knew about, but might come as a shock to the unprepared.
So, overall, a mixed reaction to the accommodation, but it's ok if you're staying for a short period of time and aren't expecting luxury.
