We stayed in a cottage at this wonderful, relaxing, and very peaceful campground. Nice and quiet at night and the sky - what a wonderful view at night!! The pool is shaped like a roman bath - with multiple pools for kids and adults. Very nice and quite unexpected. The kids (and adults!) will love it.
The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. No issues here. We all slept well. Great deck to eat out. Very large plots for the cottages. Mobile homes also looked very nice.
The only minus is the steep walk to/from the poorly equipped mini-market with minimal items. Even baguettes, croissants, and pain chocolate has to be "ordered" the day before. Incroyable!!! Do your shopping BEFORE you arrive here! We didn't eat at the restaurant but the food looked pretty good (and a bit pricey) for a campground restaurant.
One of our favorite activities was driving to Thebes and renting bikes for a bike ride along the Canal du Midi (reserve in advance!) - can also be done out of Carcassone but the bike rental is more expensive. Carcassone is worth a visit (especially if you like souvenir shops) but don't go on a weekend, you'll be mobbed.
