We stayed here for a week in December 2011 as part of our vacation from England. We were looking for good value as we didn't have that much cash to spare. It was about the cheapest place we could find but I have to say when it comes to value for money I think we did pretty well.
For $65 a night we didn't really expect too much but everything suited us perfectly.
The service was friendly when we arrived and we were upgraded to a larger room as we were staying more than a couple of nights. The room we had was plenty big enough for the 2 of us and had enough kitchen equipment for us to cook fresh meals each evening.
The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever stayed in at a hotel and the electric blanket was an added bonus (although we didn't need to use it). Shower and bathroom facilities were basic but everything worked and everything was cleaned each day.
Location was great - easy to walk into town, to New World etc. We were out exploring/being touristy each day and spent the evenings in the room.
Overall - don't expect a palace, you aren't paying for that, but definitely great value for money.
