Just read the other reviews. It's all there from the space and comfort of the suites to the warm welcome offered by the hosts. Laundry room is a Godsend. Parking is easy and location is perfect. Don't bother looking anywhere else.

This motel is ideally situated for town and Trafalgar Park. Our unit was spacious, extremely clean and quiet. The decor and finishing touches are all tasteful and they have thought of everything, even a wee fake, but realistic, lavender sprig on the toiletries. The motel owner is friendly and very helpful so you would be silly to try anywhere else in Nelson!

A most attractive complex, very modern & well maintained. Situated 200 metres from shopping on main street.Modern laundry facilities available at the most reasonable cost encountered on our trip. viz: $2.50. for Washer & same for use of dryer.Clothes line also available.Kitchen well equipped in a roomy Studio.Owners extremely helpful & friendly , giving us good info on restaurants & location of fresh fish outlet on harbour. Not the cheapest but rate Cedar Grove as one of the 3 best locations of 15 experienced on this last trip to N.Z & worth the little bit extra.Highly recommended.

John, our host, was very welcoming and helpful during our brief stay in March. We had a large first floor appartment with beautiful furniture and amenities. Everything was spotless. We were most impressed. The location is just 50 metres from the centre of town where there are several quality restaurants.
