We are a family of 4 adults who stayed in unit 5 ( a 2 bed apartment) for 3 nights in December 2011
We found the apartment to be very small, the only bathroom had the toilet combined and the kitchen area was extremely compact making cooking a meal for 4 very difficult.
On a more positive note the location was good being a short walk to the supermarket and not much further into town.

Heather and Mike are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble.
the rooms are very nice and well appointed
the close proximity to town is one of the key features and although sited on 1 of Nelsons main roads the noise level is minimal
i have been staying regular with Mike and Heather for 18 months and recommend Chelsea Park to all who are heading to Nelson

We stayed here for 1 night on the way to the inter islander ferry but wished we could have stayed longer in the area. The motel is very clean and the owners very friendly. The room was comfortable and quite large with fast Internet connection. Plenty of parking and although on a main street, surprisingly quiet.

We stayed here in January 2012 and would thoroughly recommend it. The room was tastefully furnished, light and airy. The bathroom was quite new and very clean. The kitchenette had everything you could want, with complimentary milk, tea/coffee and cookies. My kids liked the wifi as well. The service was very friendly and helpful. Close to town too.
