A beautiful B&B in a charming town with very welcoming hosts. We stayed in the upstairs loft room, which is the size of a 1-bedroom apartment. It is beautifully designed and decorated. The bed is a super-king, perfect for a tall guy like me (195cm, 6'5"). The only minor difficulty is that I had to watch my head going up the staircase. Wayne carried our bags up the stairs, which was much appreciated. The gourmet breakfasts were delicious. The conversation was delightful. Dining and the town are within easy walking distance.

Convenient location close to restaurants, and central Nelson, yet very quiet location.
Great views from our room which had every convenience and some lovely touches - the original art works and sculptures added a very "Nelsonesque" touch.
Breakfast was fantastic and we didn't need to eat another thing until evening [except of course for some fabulous Nelson coffee!]
Wayne and Val are excellent hosts, and nothing was any trouble to them.
The WiFi was much appreciated too.

We did not know what to expect. This was a very nice surprise - a charming house (and equally charming hosts), located close to restaurants and shops. We were very well taken care of and the home made breakfast was excellent. If we come back to Nelson, we know where we want to stay

The appointments meet a very high standard--beautiful wood furniture, lovely gardens, and a quiet location tucked in the corner of Nelson, yet steps away to all the sights. It is the quintessential upscale and charming B&B. Instead of the ubiquitous full English breakfast, we were served delicious waffles with berries, a welcomed change.

The hosts are very gracious and suggested good walks in Nelson's charming parks. Nelson is a lovely town and a great jumping off point for Abel Tasman NP, Golden Bay, and Farewell Spit.
