“A wonderful surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 February 2012

We arrived in Jaipur past midnight and our driver had a very hard time finding a sign for this hotel, which stands on a hill top, just past a village, roughly 5 miles of dirty road from the main interstate Delhi to Jaipur.
The property was inaugurated in November of 2010, and perfectly maintained.
Each one of the 16 villas has its own front and private back yard, perfectly landscaped.
The resort offered us a wonderful and peaceful retreat from the buzzing city of Jaipur, which is less than 30 minutes away (and less than $10 cab ride, so we could go during the day, come back to chill in the late PM, and go out again for dinner).

Room Tip: ask for stand alone villas, as some are more 'townhouse' stile

Dear Guest,

Sorry that you had a hard time locating our resort. Altough we have signages on the road, I do agree that it can be a bit taxing in locating us if you arrive late at night.

Glad to read that you were able to spend a very relaxed time with us and still go into the city for the 'buzz'. As you rightly mention, the Tree of Life offers the peace and calm of it's natural surroundings and is also conveniently located for getting into the city.

With just 14 Villas in 7 acres of land, the Resort offers huge space and privacy to it's guests. Our one bedroom Villas are stand alone and the two bedroom Villas are more suited for families travelling with children or friends travelling together. Some of them also come with their own private pool.

Thank you for sharing your experience on Trip Advisor.

Stay well.

“Therapeutic!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 February 2012

My husband and I took off for the resort for a romantic break and thats exactly what we got. We stayed at the Garden villa - a personal haven spread over 2200 sq mts. The villa is complete with a living area, bedroom leading out to the garden and a gorgeous bathroom , everything overlooking the garden. The garden also has massage tables in case you want to indulge in a spa in the outdoors in your own villa , a sunken bath and an outdoor shower. The interiors are aesthetically done and not opulent so they may you feel at home. the service is impeccable though in my opinion the spa & meals are a tad expensive. The menu is not exhaustive but everything we tasted was good. The executive chef does rounds in the evening to figure if they can whip up something to your taste. We requested for a authentic Rajasthani meal and were delighted with the same the next evening for dinner. The breakfast which is part of the room rate could definitely have a larger selection and more variety.
But overall I would give the place a thumbs up and recommend it for a weekend getaway to refresh and recharge yourself from the mayhem of city life.

Dear Guest,

I am glad that both of you had a "romantic break" with us. Yes, the Tree of Life Resort & Spa is certainly becoming a popular option with couples celebrating their anniversary, a honeymoon stay, or then just getting away from it all to be with each other.

Thank you for your appreciation of our service, cuisine and facilities. I do look forward to having both of you back with us.

Stay well.

“tree of awesomeness”

Picture perfect hotel. Wonderful views and genuinely serene.we had a remarkable time just chilling in the pool and doing nothing. The rooms may seem expensive but its brilliant value for money. Its a little far from Jaipur but that's a good thing in my opinion.

Dear Guest,

The team and I are delighted that the Tree of Life was able to provide you with a 'Tree of Awesomeness" experience! Yes, many of our guests actually like doing 'nothing' while they are with us.

Given that we offer some 2,200 sq.ft of private and luxurious space, we will of course be more expensive as compared to a regular 400 sq.ft. hotel room. I am glad that both you of were able to have a relaxed time and we look forward to having you back with us when the city life gets a bit much to handle.

Stay well.

“Oasis in the desert”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 February 2012

Our first stop in Jaipur was at the Tree of Life Resort. The journey from the airport was pleasant and breadths of fresh air was a pleasant surprise all the way. Upon arrival we were greeted by the land owner and as soon as we stepped into the resort we realised that this place was sheer luxury. First impressions count for a lot, and this place surely lived up to expectations, if not surpass mine!

We were taken to our rooms after checkin and we were delighted by the size of the villas. The rooms at the Tree of Life resort are superb. Every little bit of detail is attended to! The best bit about it was the tranquility of the area.

We were quite tired after a delayed flight so we decided to explore the resort and have dinner in house. The chef came to our room late in the afternoon and discussed the menu with us. We had a bath in our private outdoor bath and then relaxed till dinner.

Dinner was something special. I love indian food, but this was out of this world! The service, the description the plating...everything was perfect!

We tried the spa the next morning, and that was great on its own! We both fell asleep, so yes, it was a great massage!

Unfortunately it was a little too cold to jump into the stunning pool, but view and layout looked fantastic.

You guys have done a great job at this resort. Keep it up and I look forward to visiting you sometime in the future!

“What a gift!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 February 2012

This was about the most exquisitely perfect stop along our travels to India..quiet, wonderful food, lovely spaces for reflection and inner journeys, nurturing , private...what more can I say? The staff was attentive and delightful ..and Kesha Singh, the general manager , afforded us the most exquisite and extraordinary experience of a lifetime...walking the 5-10 minutes from this opulence into the village nearby...his relationship with the villagers was open and genuine, and their affection for him very much in evidence. If you go, take the time to meet the villagers and the children, and be sure to ask Mr Singh what you might do to share some of your abundance. If you are anything like us, you won;t be disappointed.

Dear Guest,

I am so glad that in addition to enjoying what the Tree of Life offers as a Resort, you took time to visit our immediate surroundings, interact with the villagers and with the children at school. Yes, they all are an integral part of the Tree of Life.

Keshar Singh, looks after our Administration and has been with me ever since I started building the Resort - I shall certainly communicate your kind words to him.

Thank you also for donating the shoes to all the children in the two school. Your kindness is deeply appreciated and every morning I see some of the children wearing them as they cross the Resort on their way to school.

Stay well.
