We showed up late at night with no reservation and as a result were not able to stay there.
However despite the time and our lack of planning the managers were both very friendly and one of them made calls on our behalf to a number of other hotels (also full) and then gave us some advise on areas to check out (which worked). I appreciate the help – and I bet they’d give great service to their customers. We only saw the outside of the hotel and the office – but it all looked well kept. I’d try staying here if I was back in this area – I’d recommend making a reservation.

Good location, average rooms, a bit overpriced. The downstairs rooms can be noisy from
upstairs heavy walking. Timely, free shuttle service. Limited food options near by. Bus service available to downtown Auckland located at front of motel. Purchase the pass that allows for all day use of buses and ferries for a few dollars more. Clarify price at time of arrival to avoid misunderstandings. Office staff is exceptional (owners excepted) Variety in the types of rooms and prices.

We booked here one night because it is very near to the airport (less than 10 min. by car).
Our room was basically equipped with everything we needed it was clean and the bed was of a good quality.
Even it is so near to the airport it was not noisy at all.

Absolutely excellent in all regards! Exceptionally clean, conveniently located, and truly superior customer service. As a business traveler, one couldn't ask for more.
