They were very helpful and so kind, when we forgot urgently needed travel documents back in Dunedin. They did their best to assist us to get new travel documents. We couldn't have stayed in a better hotel. We highly appreciate what they have done for us. We can recommend the Airport Gateway Hotel to everyone. Not only because they helped us so much, but also because the rooms are clean and spacious, and the Queen bed we had was comfortable. If I come back to Auckland and need a hotel, I know where to go!

A very convenient location next to the airport with a very prompt pickup service from the airport.
I was met with a pleasant and a friendly staff at the reception.
Though the hotel is old but it is very neat and clean providing all basic amenities required for a overnight stay. The swimming pool and the spa were lovely.

I stayed there for two nights and found the room to be very tidy. Was unfortunate that my family that drove from Rotorua weren't able to stay in the room with me for a few hours until my daughter arrived on the next flight, but I guess they gave a valid reason. Great that they were able to store my chilly bins of food until I left the next day, also that they allowed my family to use the pool, without kicking them out.
