My mom arrived in Auckland three days ahead of us and had a three-person room that came complete with a kitchen. The staff were very helpful in suggesting ideas of things for my mom to do as she did not have a car. She took a tour of Auckland and the bus picked her up at the hotel. My husband and I stayed our last night in New Zealand at this hotel and although our room was not as large as the one my mom stayed in, it was comfortable, clean and quiet. This hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the airport which is quite a savings. The staff were helpful, courteous and genuinely interested in making us comfortable.

For an overnight stay before catching a flight, it was okay value for money. The staff were friendly and while the rooms were typically boring but spacious enough, the linens were grey and the pillows dirty and old! We put a towel on to sleep on the pillow! Traffic noise was a bit of a problem.
The restaurant food was pretty good. We were concerned about leaving our car there after reading the reviews, but no problems.

We paid for our car to be parked while on a short trip to Melbourne. Returned to find that the car was not where it should be. It had been stolen sometime during our 10 day absence. The staff and management had absolutely no idea. While I accept that they have no responsibility for damages/theft etc one would expect that they take due care. It appears not. What's more, the manager's response when he was told was to tell his staff member to get me to phone the police!!! I felt sorry for the poor person who had to convey this message. Still unhappy having spoken to the manager - a course or 20 in customer service may begin to help him out....

Our room felt dirty and was insecure. Bathroom, as reported by another reviewer moldy and appeared very unhygienic!!!

The staff were great, the foyer gave the impression of neatness. But wow.
Getting to the room was a pain, pouring rain and no cover, then trying to get the key to work, another wait in the rain. Rooms were small, clean, but mould growing in the bathroom was a bite freaky... Shower was hot, shame it pointed to the ceiling and the bathroom was flooded.

What really made us laugh was that the signs pointed out the fire escape, so we had a check and found it was locked....

$180.00 for 6 hours... What a rip off.
