Stayed here recently in a hotel room on a business trip to Hervey Bay for a change from the usual motels.The hotel room comes with a king size bed and a spa bath but is very small. Barely room "to swing a cat" (not that I normally travel with one ;)
Not much of a stunning view from the balcony either as the room was located on the second floor (which is actually the first floor) and overlooked the neighboring "mall" -airconditioning noise included.
The room was clean however lacked some basics in my opinion. There is no luggage rack to put your suitcase on, the so called desk is too high to sit at to write or work on the computer. No ice in the fridge either, which would have been nice on a very hot day.
The bed was not very comfortable either, I could feel the springs poking in my back.

Overall not really that much value for money given a price of over $ 150 a night (with no breakfast included) for a single traveler.

This hotel managment are not very helpful
Asked to have the dryer repair they said they would but did not
Asked to have the aircon to the bedrooms repair they said they would but did not
Asked to check out earlier because after waiting day to have service repaired and nothing happening we where told we were not intitled to a refund for perpaid accommadation
We even gave them two day notice before checking out.
I find this very unsatisfacty even after talking with Managerment.

Poor AV setup. Stayed in room for a day to relax and since it was raining, 3 free tv channels didn't work on main tv, NO free tv channels working in bedroom, only 6 pay tv channels and they were crap i.e 2 x fox sports, nickelodeon, fox8, sky and animal planet.

The hotel is situated on the marina where you can find some wonderful restaurants. We were upgraded to a pool access room which was fun. The rooms are spacious, clean and value for money.
