I stayed here for 4 nights in a three-bed dorm. The room is small, but the beds are good. The staff is really friendly (what's in a name?) and very helpfull with a lot of things. Just ask and they will help you with everything. There is only one bathroom in each unit and the toilet is in it. It was a lot better if the shower and the toilet were seperate. Now you have to share them with a lot of people. A lot of Germans here as well, even Google is set in German. The the hostel is a bit noisy. The walls are thin, and you can hear the people walk above you very well. It is located near the beach (5 minutes walk), but too close to a busy road. It is nice, but I think it is more suitable for couples and groups. They take over the living room and the kitchen, before you know it. It looks like a home, but it feels like somebody elses when there are groups and couples around. There is no swimming pool.

The hostel itself is fine. Situated near other hostels it is on the main pick up route for most of the Fraser island busses. Although our room, bathroom and common area were very clean we found that the walls were pretty thin and even though there are notices telling people to keep off the balconies after 9:30 it didn't seem as though there was anyone around to police this. As we had a very early start the next morning this was a shame but I cannot mark the hostel down for this as it is technically the fault of the guests. Maybe they should invest in some decent soundproofing? The rooms are nice if a little dated, the hostel picks up from the bus depot and the girl we spoke to on reception was friendly. The free Internet is on the kiosks outside, I would have preferred to use wireless on my own laptop but this didn't seem to be working when I visited. Overall a nice place to stay while youre waiting to head over to Fraser island.

I stayed here for one and thought that the hostel was excellent value for money. The rooms were clean and the communal areas were the best I have seen so far on my travels. Te only bad points are that it is very noisy here and the internet is not great, I was given a code to the use on the three computers (only two worked) and it didnt work. Some girls staying next door had other codes which also didnt work.

The hostel does offer free bike hire and if I was staying for longer I would have used this.

This hostel was great for my girlfriend and I. We had a nice private room and the staff was very very friendly and helpful. They even held our backpacks during our Fraser Island trip.

The setup here is great. the whole place is setup into four apartments. so, four kitchens, four washrooms. It was a great change of pace.

Also they have free bike rental! Great place, great place.
