We recently stayed at the riverview motel for a night,we so would of made it two or three if we had our daughter with us,the complex is lovely n clean from the time we opened our unit door to the timew we left we felt so at home,nice and quiet and very private.I'd recommend this motel to other travellers we booked in without booking ad the host was very helpful and polite.Well done riverview motel.

If you're looking for a base in Wanganui for a few days, this motel is in a good location just a few minutes from town and opposite the river.

Our room was clean, we had fresh fluffy towels each day, and the shower was always hot. There is wi-fi internet access should you need it, and the owners are very friendly and helpful.

We recently stayed at the Riverview Motel for 1 night. A last minute booking. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. We stayed in a small studio unit, which was very clean and tidy. Lovely location across from the river. Great walk along the river, in either direction. Only a few mins walk from town. Free wif fi. Only downside was an unpredictable shower head. Water fluctuating from hot to cold, but other than that a great place to stay.

Our RocknRoll Club booked accommodation at River View Motel for the long weekend as Nationals were held in Wanganul. Our bus was greeted by the hosts Mark & Karen and farwelled by them and their children who were fascinated by all these people turning up in a 48 seater coach. Nothing was a problem for them and we are very comfprtable and handy to our venue. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and lovely grounds. Would recommend.
