Stayed at Aladins for the weekend in early June and found it more then adequate. After reading the reviews i was a little sketchy about staying and then thought why not?? give it a go. Needless to say a was surprised. Reception was more then friendly and helpful, even directed us to a resturant they recomended which is always helpful when your new to a town. The room was spacious (Ground Studio) and clean, barely heard any road noise, which is a major for us at night while we are trying to sleep!!! Loved having a spa bath and they porvided toiletries. Easy location and close to center.

All and all i would definitly recommend Aladins Motor Inn to friends and family.

didn't even get to this motel as they cancelled my booking after finding out that I would arrive at 2130, which is after their closing time of 2100. I have travelled a lot and this is the first time ithis has happened! The proprietor was quite rude on the phone and wouldn't even consider the usual arrangement (leave key out and complete check-in procedure in the morning). So I cannot comment on the quality of the motel, but I would say (and judging by the previous posted review) that the proprietor is not their prime asset.

We should have been warned when this was the only available motel in a booked up city! Friendly on initial phone contact. Rooms were very clean but lacking in style and personality. Beds very comfortable but.......... they failed to tell us that making them was not part of the service!This is the only motel I've ever heard of where this is not part of the service. The biggest shock was discovering an uninformed $25 charge on our credit card for failing to wash our dishes on the last day. If this was a condition it wasn't made clear to guests. On advice from the Motel Association, phone contact was made and the irate motel owner lost his cool as we dared to question the charge and hung up on us. Apparentely, complaints of this moteliers practice are common, and my personal advice is that you would be better off elsewhere as the service does not reflect the price paid.
