Chose Darby park after seeing good reviews on TA and was not let down. Stayed for 5 nights in a 1 bedroom apartment. The room was clean with everything we needed. The staff were friendly, welcoming and full of good tips for our stay. The apartments are really central (Across from the information centre and within walking distance of anything we needed). Overall a great place to stay and I would definitely consider coming back.

“good location, adequate room”
we stayed in Dec 30 -31, 2011 for 2 nights in one bed room studio. the room is good size with queen size bed, kitchenette, and wahing maching hiddens in the bath room. the living are open plan with dining table. the back door open to garden. the room were clean and well furnished. the resort sit in prime location every thing is in door steps there are shops,restaurants and bars.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review, as I have often stated we do use this as a bench mark tool for the staff to see that we are maintaining our standards and it is good to see that we are still meeting the guest's expectations.
The beauty of the property is being located in the heart of the heart but still nestled in the State forest.
I hope that Margaret River will become a "frequent visit destination" for you and I look forward to welcoming you back to Darby Park

“Margaret River - Darby Apartments”
Stayed in February 2011 for two nights as part of a wedding party. We had a great time and the apartments are close to the main high street. They were clean, well furnished and the air con good. Margaret River was refreshing after spending a week in the Perth area as just a bit cooler but is a lively night out. Would recommend the Settlers Tavern nearby

Thank you for taking the time to write the review, it is always satisifiying to see that we have met your expectation. I note that you are a return guest - and this is a great yard stick for us, 70% of our business is repeat business.
Fortunately, Margaret River was that bit cooler than Perth during the recent heatwave.
Settlers Tavern certainly do provide a great venue for food and entertainment.
I look forward to welcoming you back for your 3rd visit in the not too distant future.

“Fantastic location and accommodation!”
Darby Park services apartments are in the best location, literally a one minute walk to the main street of Margaret River and it's shops, cafes and restaurants. Guests have access to a lovely pool within the complex and parking is free. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

“Great place to stay!”
We stayed here January 2012 for 5 nights. We had a great family getaway in a 1 bedroom loft apartment. the Master Bdrm was spacious and well equipped with it's own large TV. The living area was also well equipped for a family. Large table, good spacious lounge area with another large flat screen TV and DVD player. The kids loved the upstairs loft with 2 single beds. We loved the balcony overlooking the lovely bush area with big shady trees. It's really a city getaway in the country. The pool is excellent complete with towels and suncreen on tap and the kids loved playing tennis on the half court! The girls who serviced our room every day were lovely and couldn't do enough for us.
The hotel is situated in a perfect spot with town at your door stop and so many other attractions nearby if you want to do day trips. The Thai restuarant acroos the road and the quircky bakery/cafe just down the hill the hill were our favourite spots to eat. The bakery has the croisants ever!! All in all we had a great time and were more than happy with our stay.
Room Tip: poolside rooms are good but not as quiet as ones with bush view.
