“Well located and extremely comfortable”

My husband and I spent last night at the Comfort Inn, Traralgon. We were in town to go to Neilson's restaurant. We had the opposite experience to the previous reviewer. In fact, I almost didn't book there based on that review. We did, though - a king room and were perfectly happy with it. The room was large, the bathroom was large, the bed, doona, sheets, pillows were fluffy, new and extremely comfortable. Everything in the room was new. There was a flat screen tv with Austar, kettle and toaster. Loads of parking available. The man at the front desk was friendly, helpful and entertaining. I really thought this motel should have an opposing opinion on Trip Advisor from the previous review. If you are in Tralagon to see the many local sites or just passing through, we'd recommend this motel to anyone. It is a drive-in motel, of course, not the Ritz. Also, Neilson's was fabulous. Worth the trip to Traralgon alone.

I always give kudos if good (Refer past reports). This was bad ,I am getting fed up with Comfort inns in Oz . The staff were unhelpful rude when a complaint. i.e 4 degrees c and air con heat not working .When complained none knew how to solve the problem,which is contrary to Choice guarantee. We froze and checked out early. The ocker Oz when I said as a Gold Status member would report -replied ok mate do it. (his name was Frank). Maybe they didnt like the thought that I was redeeming Choice points( that I had earned).Give this a BIG MISS. if you have to, stay at the Quality Inn. Not sure where it is and nobody in town seem to know either, but it is in their directory.The beds were old and the bedding I would not give to my dog.Hope someone reads this as it seems people here accept and don't complain. and do not bother with free parking., my room space was occupied by 1 person taking up 4 spaces
