Many moons go we had stayed at what was then the Flag resort in Swan Hill after doing the doorknock all along the strip looking for somewhere to stay.

This time we were 3 adults and knowing that in peak periods Swan Hill can be pretty hectic we rolled in at 9am after a phone call to friends and got the last room. A queen/single ground floor.

We then spent the day at the pioneer village and had ticketes to return to light and sound.

Upon returning to the motel we were asked was it OK to move into a 2 room apartment (of course). The room was outstanding. KIng bed ( I think), 3 singles in a spearate room so the pushy had ample room too, and we could be adults.... clean as and quiet despite the motel being fully booked.

Great TV, table and chairs, and dedicated parkinOnly disappoint was not trying the restaurant because we needed to go to the light and sound on 45 mins after it opened.

We stayed at this motel for a night and it was very pleasant. Good sized room, clean with all the amenities you should expect. However the following day our car broke down and the owners helped of out well above the call of duty. I cannot speak more highly of service. Eight motels in eight days and this was a standout! Many thanks for your efforts.

The front of the motel is double storey, but the rear is single storey which is where I stayed. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was very large. It is located just on the edge of the town centre - a very short walk to restaurants and shops. The staff were helpful. Of course the common walls meant that I could hear the adjoining occupants' TV. The only other problem was that the hot water was not very hot, which was disappointing as it was mid winter and I was looking forward to a hot shower at the end of the day. However it was overall a pleasant and comfortable place to stay.

Stayed here for one night between Xmas and new years on our way to Mildura. It's on the main street on the way into town. It was pretty quiet when we were there. Parking is outside the room, diagonal parking, decent sized spots, so not too bad for the car. Only problem for the car was there were little birds trying to eat the bugs from the front of the car which i didn't really appreciate, but they didn't seem to do any damage, luckily.

Walking distance to the town. There is a restaurant on-site but it wasn't open the night we were there. Our room was quiet enough, aircon worked well and tv was adequate. Clean and comfortable. So can't fault it for a one night stop over.

Had a pool which looked good, but didn't use it ourselves. Only problem we had was our Amex card wouldn't work in the machine so had to use a diferent card.

Just a quick tip, if you're hoping to visit the 'big egg' at lake boga on the way to this motel, don't bother, it's not there anymore...
