I stayed in (room 304 and i must say i was very disappointed for a 4 star hotel. The TV reception in the room was what i would expect in some very remote place on the outskirts of digital reception not for a capital city. it seems pointless having a high definition TV when you could get better reception on a old analogue TV!
When i got to the room I put some beers in the fridge in the room and after 7 hours at best they were cool, not ideal temp for a cold beer after a show. I, like a few of your guests were there to see Tim Minchin perform at the Palias Theatre. I was looking forward to a cold beer after the show and when i could not get one in my room i decided to visit your bar which is advertised to stay open till midnight. I was more than annoyed when at 11pm i could not get in as they were closed. I would of thought that with a big show on just around the corner they would of stayed open to let the guests wind down after the show.
Even the alarm clock radio could not be set as none of the buttons would work but at midnight the alarm went off.
I reported these problems to your reception last night so i was again disappointed when i checked out this morning (around 9.30) when i was not offered any sort of apology from the young lady at reception. She didn't even ask me how my stay was.
For such a high reputation for your brand i think i have good reason to be disappointed.
