We chose this accommodation because almost everything else in Mildura is on the main road and we've stayed in enough noisy rooms. This was a standard room and after everyone went to bed and turned the air conditioners off it was beautifully quiet. Unfortunately this only happened one night of our stay. The walls are very thin in the standard rooms so you can hear everything said in the rooms either side. Further the old and noisy air conditioners are mounted above the doors in the wall with the windows, meaning that you can feel the vibration and hear the noise from a system four doors away (yes, I checked). Aside from that the rooms are old but comfortable enough and reasonably clean, except for a standard problem in Australian hotels: the cleaners never look up. The bathroom ceiling fan had the usual coating of dust about to fall on the unsuspecting bather. When problems with dust and unclean crockery were bought to management's attention they were quick to fix the problems, but they really are the sorts of things you shouldn't see.
Reasonable restaurant on site, great position early in the morning to enjoy birds calling at dawn and if you like to golf it's all there.
Room Tip: just ask - they'll do their best

Thank you for your feed back, we actually have a roster for ceiling fans as they require a ladder and we appologize that the one in your room was missed. The standard rooms you stayed in are actually due to be demolished shortly with the construction of new accommodation following the upgrade to our course. We will then be able to provide you upgraded accommodation of a much higher standard. Unfortunately we cannot change the structure of the current buildings but we can offer you fairway or deluxe rooms rather than the standard rooms.
