This was one of three places my husband, two adult children and I stayed at recently on a slow crawl home from a family wedding in Melbourne, and the least impressive. The room was so small there wasn't even space to put our suitcase and hanging space was almost non existant. After spending the day in the car together, we needed more space. Admittedly the room was advertised in words as"budget", but the pictures on the website were certainly not taken in our room. It was very tired and smelt musty and the beds were very soft and roll together like, not conducive to a restful sleep. After all having a less than satisfactory sleep we were treated to a very ordinary shower, low on pressure and hard to regulate the heat. It seems parts of this motel have been upgraded, so, if you plan to stay, be very clear about which room you are in. I'd definately phone and confirm all details before booking. The pool area looked good.
Lakes Entrance itself is well worth a look. We'll not be back to this property though.
