This motel looks much the same from the outside as so many other motels, however the inside is a cut above your standard motel. While you can't do much with your standard brick walls, and the bathroom could only be improved with a major reno, the owners have gone to a lot of effort with the furnishings; some oil paintings, leather chair and little desk and chair, and some really nice scatter cushions, Best of all, there was a really comfortable bed and pillows, and some quality linen and towels. (So many motels in my experience have poor bedding). There is also a flat screen tv and nice products. Everything was spotlessly clean. Most of the rooms are set back from the road so noise shouldn't be an issue. The motel is on the main road (highway) and is only 3 minutes from the city centre by car. I would be happy to stay here again when next in Bendigo.

We came across this hotel and decided to give it a go from the look of the outside of the building even thou it was supposedly only 3.5stars. We were very glad that we did. The motel is spotless inside and out. We got a family room that was separated in the middle by the bathroom/toilet, if you are being picky the bathroom is a little dated, however the extras make up for it. Many shampoos etc and well set out. We had breakfast (room service) one morning, and dinner the second night at Jonah's restaurant, both were pleasant and well priced. The pool is heated and lovely, same with sauna and spa. We go to Bendigo often and will definately stay here again. The family room was well priced at only $145ish per night. Two flat screens as well in rooms.
