I had made my booking using the Accor site, and having stayed there inumerable times before though it would be up to the usual standard. However, on arrival I was greeted by the first change, complimentary parking - always included in the past - is no longer included, and I had to pay A$6 even though it was a public holiday. The second surprise was that "A room with airconditioning is available for A$30 additional per night"! We thought it not worth it, but little did we know we had been allocated a North facing room, and while you can open the window to allow a cross breeze, it was oppressive. Everything else was OK, but it was off-putting to get two poor surprises at the start of our stay and now I will certainly think twice about staying again.
