We stayed at this motel for 9 days last month and our kids just loved it. Their swimming pool is just great and the kids played every day as it was very hot most days. My mother in-law was with us and she is a bit fussy about cleanliness but there was nothing wrong at all and the staff was all very friendly. We had booked with them directly a few months in advance and from the start until we left, everything was just fantastic and very efficient handled although the motel was full because of the school holidays I suppose. We travel quite a bit to different places with the kids but that was one of our more pleasant and memorable holidays. As i was browsing through websites today I was quite surprised to read the previous comment left on here as we had a completely different experience. Must be that the new owners have worked hard improving it all. The 3 bedroomed apartment we stayed in was very roomy, looked like it was redecorated not so long ago and the kitchen was spotless and had all the cooking equipment needed, even had a separate laundry room with a washing machine which was handy with the kids around! I thought it only fair to leave my own experience on here and I will recommend their place for anyone for sure.

We stayed here for 2 nights and moved to another location as the accommodation offered was below standard. I have no problems staying in an older motel as long as it is clean... but when there is no secure locks (faces main road so take your laptop with you), no hot water and I am sharing space with cockroaches and dead bugs it is time to go. The people who owned the motel (who are new owners apparently) seemed very pleasant but that was the only positive - oh and the beautiful sunflowers.

The website is quite misleading, either that or we got the worst room in the inn!!! The room (which was sold as a 2 bedroom apartment) had very little ventilation as was very musty. You can not leave the front door open as you face the main road (hopefully you don't sleep lightly) so your only option is to put the air con on as cold as you can and hope it makes its way to the bedroom. I actually think the room may have been a downstairs area built in as it has patio roofing. Oh did I mention the mould in the bathroom??? There are better places to stay in Toowoomba.
