Shower moldy. We stayed in double room. Minimal facility. Old motel that has seen better days. Choose it because we considered it would be quieter part of town, which it is. But on a cold night air con heaters were so poorly maintained that it seemed like a plane was revving up to take off - excessive noise from every air con in the building

I stay at this motel very regularly for several days and always happy to go back. Staff is friendly. Their self contained apartments are spacious and clean with very comfortable beds and full kitchens which is rare to find elsewhere. As a single traveler on business, internet connection is important to me and their wifi is pretty fast broadband (quite cheap too). Location is great and their rates are very competitive compared to most others. Good value for money there. All in all, a great place to keep going back to.

Well where do I start? To get it out there I didnt stay here but I paid to. I got ripped off I paid for the room via a website giving a ETA of 7pm but murpheys law I got held up with deleyed flights and alot of road works coming back from Brisbane. The owner would not even answer the phone the after hours phone or answer the door and it wasnt evin that late he was still advertising vacancies. he left myself, one very jet lagged one year old and very pregnant tired wife out on the side of the road. I was only a hour late. He just plainly and simply left us out there in the cold. He rang my phone saying to ring him back to make arangements but that was out of the question at the time he evin rang the organisation that I was dealing with and failed to leave them with details even tho the last time he attempted to contact me was 5 mins before I arived. And in the cheak of it he woint even refund or credit me. Even after stating my case and cercumstances

We stayed at this motel for 9 days last month and our kids just loved it. Their swimming pool is just great and the kids played every day as it was very hot most days. My mother in-law was with us and she is a bit fussy about cleanliness but there was nothing wrong at all and the staff was all very friendly. We had booked with them directly a few months in advance and from the start until we left, everything was just fantastic and very efficient handled although the motel was full because of the school holidays I suppose. We travel quite a bit to different places with the kids but that was one of our more pleasant and memorable holidays. As i was browsing through websites today I was quite surprised to read the previous comment left on here as we had a completely different experience. Must be that the new owners have worked hard improving it all. The 3 bedroomed apartment we stayed in was very roomy, looked like it was redecorated not so long ago and the kitchen was spotless and had all the cooking equipment needed, even had a separate laundry room with a washing machine which was handy with the kids around! I thought it only fair to leave my own experience on here and I will recommend their place for anyone for sure.
