After reading the other reviews, I was terrified of what we had already booked and paid for. However, we thought it was a lovely typical North Qld resort.

Yes the acommodation is outdated, but it met our needs entirely as a family of four. We stayed in a two bed with small balcony next to the pool. The beach is beautiful and the rooms were very clean.

I think what made other guests mad is that this is a 3 star resort at most but charging 4 star prices. It may have been 4 stars in its day, but not anymore. And we've stayed in a lot of 4 star places recently.

All in all a lovely little spot, very nice staff but overpriced.

I travel once a month and stay in lot of hotels...This is NOT 4 star. The Novotel or Holiday Inn is a 4 Star, this is lucky to be a 3 star. The rooms are dated- except new bed spread and a flat screen TV, but everything else is dated.

There was no room service ( as advertised) and the restaurant was closed. When I asked about breakfast I was sold a ceral and juice pack and given two slices of frozen bread for $13! They charge you to use their tennis courts and you have to pay for the gas to cook on the BBQ??? ....4 star yeah right!

Rooms were clean but the rating is misleading and I won't be staying here again.

The location is great and the rooms have a full size fridge, washing machine and dryer however, for the price they should be cleaned daily. You even need to buy your own toilet paper.

This resort on some web pages has it as 4 stars, but when we arrived it was scrapping to make 3 stars, very dissapointed with the management on dealing with issues concerning our room and maintenance, the restaurant was closed down and the games room was actually one tabletennis table and one pool table. Very tierd looking hotel, in need of desperate renovation, won't be going back.
