We were looking for a cheap motel as we didnt want to pay alot of money, we found this one for $150 per night we were staying for two nights. The photos on the website were wonderful very presentable so we thought why not!!!.
The first night we didnt arrive till about 10pm as we were at a family funtion so we really didn't see much, when we woke up and realise the place was old and run down, our doona had no cover and was torn in millions of spots, the bed we slept in was missing a leg, we had lollie wrappers in our bed, the shower was so tiny and horrible, we didnt even get face cloths, hand towels. We were awake all hours of the night with cars, trucks, planes (no mention of this on the website). We got woken up at 7am to the ladies cleaning the other apartments laughing, gigglings, yelling across the driveway, they had no respect for anyone else in the complex. This was very poor experience and a waste of money, I would not recommend this complex to anyone who is visiting Mackay.....

Older style motel but very clean. Handy basic kitchenette to cook breakfast or lunch. Very noisy location with trucks roaring up the road all night. Also helicopters were taking off from about 3am from somewhere near.

Arrived early and the staff advised us on the time to have the room made up. Very clean and well presented. It was one room with a double bed, single and a pull out single.
Room had free wifi. Basic kitchen but close to some food outlets. On the main road so a bit of traffic noise until 10pm and then it dropped of very quickly. Slept well. Aircond worked well.
good value for money

Stayed here for 4 nights, 3 at 95 and one more expensive. I didn't want to spend a lot on accommodation and I got a very comfortable bed, TV, Foxtel, WIFI and wonderful service - nothing was too much trouble. I asked for a toaster in the room and a knife ( tea and coffee making facilities are in the room) and they were supplied with pleasure. The owners even lent me their sticky tape and scissors to wrap a gift.

I read a review that complained about the truck noise from the highway but I honestly didn’t notice it during the night.

I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a value for money clean and comfortable place to stay. I would stay here again.
