The new management have done a fantastic job in making one of Mackay's first Motels a really clean, comfortable place to stay. We had a great stay here and the room has everything you need and the staff and management go out of their way to make sure you are happy and comfortable. The pool and BBQ area is a great area to relax on a hot day and the location is nice and close to the shopping centres and movies. we will definitely be back, great value for money. Thank you very much for making us feel so welcome!

This Motel is brilliant, the new owners have made this not only a friendly but a very comfortable place to stay. The room was very spacious, comfortable and well maintained. Courtyard and eating area were of good quality, two good quality BBQ's provided. Staff were brilliant with any help that was needed, and very easy to get along with.

The new management has definitely made this a great place to stay. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a place to stay either on your own, with another or even as a family.

Booked into this truly awful place by the Mackay Tourism people of all organisations. No phones, no internet, no iron, no desk, no bedside table in room. Room wasn't made up one day even though I made the bed up on most occasions.

Bogans in cars squealing tyres to all hours right outside the window, sounded like the world was in the room. A single cycle (cooling) air conditioner only which I used on fan mode to try and drown out the noise.

Dirty bathroom, exposed lights, broken electrical fittings (dangerous). Staff never in office and weren't available to check in initially.

A really bad bad place.
