We stayed at the beachcomber during the off peak season. It was a great value in a great location. It is very close to the Gold Coast airport and close to many tourist destinations. The large spacious rooms with amazing balcony views really made our trip enjoyable and relaxing. Compared to the crazy and rowdy atmosphere of Surfer's Paradise, the Beachcomber was our little piece of Gold Coast paradise. The beachcomber has great facilities for a great value. The front desk was very helpful, especially Josephine who during her first weeks of work there really helped organize our activities. The two pools and hot tubs were enjoyable, as well as the bbq area. Parking was included in a secure basement garage. The kitchen as well as the washer and dryer really came in handy. Overall we were very happy with our week there.

We are with timeshare and stayed at the Beachcomber which is our home resort. It is a lovely resort and we had a 2 bedroom corner apartment with a lovely view of the ocean. The apartment was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The kids enjoyed the pool, spa and tennis. The gym was a bit small compared to other resorts that we have stayed at. Walk out the front door of the resort and you are in the main street of Coolie, within easy access of the cinema and heaps of restaurants. Also easy walk to RSL Club at Twin Towns where we saw Jimmy Barnes live! Down side of Coolie, is the fairly long walk across the sand at the beach when it is hot - burning feet........ But worth it....... Lovely resort will stay there again most likely in 2008.
