Stayed at ocean plaza with our two boys (10 & 12). The apartment we stayed in is in need of a full refurbishment but it was ok for us as it ment that I did not have to constantly worry about the boys bumping the walls etc. The view from our balcony was breathtaking, and the location was excellent as we had direct access via the lift to the cinemas and shopping centre below. Even though it is located on top of the Coolangatta Hotel we didn't experience any noice issues.

Not sure if we are just lucky but every time we stay at Ocean Plaza it is perfect! This time we stayed on the 19th floor in a modern 3 bed/3bath apartment and had a great time. Of course we had great weather so that helps! The location of the apartment is such that you don't need a car. A short taxi ride from the airport (or undercover parking if you have a car), food and general shopping on the ground floor of the complex and most importantly the patrolled beach is across the road (zebra crossing). The ladies in the office are very helpful if you want to book tours or theme park tickets. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed for a month and enjoyed it so much we are going back for another month in May 2011. Our unit on the 13th floor was well furnished, tastefully decorated and had plenty of equipment. This was a big unit and intended for occupation by four people although there were just two of us.We had made specific requests and these were honoured in full. The reception people were most helpful on the few occasions we had to deal with them.
I note the adverse comments during 2005/2006 and wonder if these should still be on file today. Clearly there has either been a change of management or some serious "swish" through the place. Whatever, we had no complaints

We stayed here for 4 blissful days in a sea facing apartment on the 13th floor. Marble floors, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, every mod con you could think of. We could lie in bed and look at the sea. The staff and management could not have been more friendly and helpful. Ocean Plaza is extremely well situated; lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Coolangatta is a great town with really friendly people; you feel so at home that you don't want to leave. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Australia.
