Booked this place as a layover between Town of 1770 and Brisbane. After leaving Rainbow Beach to head to Lady Musgrave Island I called to see if we could check in around 6am because we had to be in Town of 1770 by 7:30am. Once we arrived there we were greeted by the one of the owners. She was very helpful and allowed us to check in early and drop all of our bags off so they wouldn't be visible in the rental car all after noon.

The hotel room was adequate for two people. All new flat screens TV's were a nice touch with plenty of channels. Great location in the center of Bundaberg. Plenty of food places
to eat at on the same street. Parking is right outside of your door so that is a good thing.

For the money and considering other choices around, this is your best bet in Bundaberg. Really close to the Bundaberg Rum Distillery as well.

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend (I took her there for her birthday because she likes Bundy Rum). We had a great weekend, which was enhanced by our stay at the Bundaberg City Motor Inn. I had originally booked a car with Hertz thinking I could pick it up in town, not the case, the Hertz office is at the airport, so I had to cancell the booking (it was going to cost me $20 in a taxi to pick the car up). When I asked Tom (the manager) where the nearest hire car company was, he told me it was a kilometer or two up the road and offered to drop me there, which I accepted. He even offerd to drive me back to the motel the next day when I returned the car, plus drop us off at the train station. I declined both offers as it was a nice day and the walk did me good after I returned the car, and the railway station was only a five minute walk up the road. There aren't too many places around where you would get that sort of service, oh, and the rooms were very clean, tidy and comfortable. We will definately stay there on our next visit. We arrived in Bundaberg by train after a long day but we reached the hotel after only a short walk to the hotel from the train station. There we were warmly welcomed by the owner Tom, who knew my name and gave us some milk for the fridge.
The hotel is small and all on the ground floor, with laundry facilities, restaurants right around the hotel. The beds and bathroom facilities were excellent, the coffee and tea and cookies again were very welcoming and gave us that homey feeling, something we look for when away. There's a fridge and place to work if need be. We ended up staying an extra day... this Bundaberg Best Western certainly gave us the 'no worries' Australian flavor, everything was taken care of. Well done, we'd stay there again and highly recommend it to otheres.

From the moment we first checked in we were welcomed by the great team at the motel and went straight to our room. The room was very tidy and had a great air con unit to see the hot night out. It was also good to see covered car parking included as well.

We were only staying the one night as passing through to Rockhampton and it was so great to find a motel like this with such friendly staff and good accommodation!
