I stayed at Aston Hill Motor lodge with 3 other adults and 2 kids at the 2 bedroom family loft suite for a stopover en route to Coffs Harbour. The suite was spotlessly clean, so were the toilets and bedsheets. The carpets seemed vacuumed thoroughly after each guest's stay. We stayed during the peak season, with a price cheaper to other accomodations. The Lodge was a 3- minute drive to the city centre. It was located in a quiet cul-de-sac amongst a residential community I think. Dont expect any nice view though. Just right for a restful stopover.

We stayed on NYE in the Blueberry apartments and it was very nice. Very modern, proper fridge for all our food and drinks, not the tiny bar fridges, with crockery, stove and microwave which is great when you don't want to eat out for every meal. Excellent air con for the warm weather and pool out the back and secure car parking. We would happily stay here again.

We (two adults) were en route from Sydney to Brisbane and took Tripadvsor's rave reviews as gospel and were not disappointed. Far from it. This is a great place to stay - tucked away in a quiet street; spotless self contained comfortable room and not far from eateries and shops and with a useful mini kitchen as well. (Reception has a selection of microwave meals if you are too late or to tired to go out. Big screen TV too. The undercover car park was much appreciated on a hot sunny day. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Last weekend, my friends and I checked into Aston Hill Motor Inn. We opted for the new 3 bedroom self-contained, 2 storey apartment ($280 per night). We went without any expectations and were well blown away with the luxurious, spacious and modern interior and excellent facilities provided.
There were 3 Queen size beds and each room was equipped with air-cond, 108cm plasma wide screen Tv, DVD player, Free Austar and work station. Perfect arrangement, as the boys were very pleased watching the rugby matches and playing their PS3 without the disturbances from the girls.
The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, fridge, microwave, oven and dishwasher. It was enjoyable and no hassle preparing a meal given all the facilities. There is also a washing machine and dryer, convenient for those staying for a longer period.
Aston Hill is situated in a quiet location, just a 10-minute walk from the city centre. The bed and pillows were comfy and rest assured that you will have a good night’s sleep. It was unfortunate that the weather at Port Macquire was bad and we had to spend indoors most of the time but Aston made our trip so much more bearable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone.
