My husband and I stayed here on New Year's Eve, for just one night, with our 17-month-old baby. It was okay, but just the basics. Our room had a pleasant, clean smell and was comfortable, but definitely not flash. The location was walking distance to Coles, Target, the beachfront, cafes, activities etc.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was very clean and tidy.
We arrived at 11.30am, and requested an early check-in, which they were happy to do.

The carpark was a bit random - it's underneath the building, down a couple of sets of stairs, I think it could be helpful if they allocated specific parking spaces to a room. It was also a bit of a pain not having an elevator (especially with a baby) although reception does offer to help you with your bags on request.

The bed was really comfortable and we had a good quiet sleep (which was surprising considering it was New Year's Eve!) There was also air conditioning in the room which was great!

I used the free wifi internet on my own laptop, but it cut out a lot and was extremely slow (I wasn't able to watch a YouTube video because it kept buffering) but it was a free service after all.

I might consider staying here again, but only because of the excellent location, and because the pool and spa were brilliant for my 17-month-old who doesn't handle the beach very well yet. For other people, I might recommend looking elsewhere in Port Mac first, as there is a lot of choice.

We chose Palm Court for conveniece more than anything, and thankfully we only stayed one night. The room was a decent size but it was dark and smelled very musky, as if it had been smoked in recently. There wasn't much ventilation and the lighting was harsh and horrible. It's also expensive for what it is. I don't recommend staying there, even if you're only passing through Port Macquarie as we were.

My Husband, my 2 children (aged 14 & 12) and myself stayed here for 3 nights over the weekend and found it was great. It was close to everything we needed, offered a clean and tidy room with everything we asked for.

If you want to make sure you're guaranteed of a room don't pick this one!!! We booked months in advance and a "computer gliche" bumped us off onto another day and we were out of a room. Unfriendly and unprofessional service. Didn't care that it was their mistake - fobbed us off and no apologies. Just kept blaming the computer. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! Never experienced this in all my life of travelling.
