We stayed this on the (Australian) June Queens Birthday Long Weekend. The quality of the accomodation was excellent, and the bathroom was new. We bought our two (housetrained) dogs with us, as we could not leave them behind. The Hosts were very friendly, and nothing was too much of a problem.

I don't think there are any other pet-friendly hotels in Parkes, which is a shame, for 80% of NSW State citizens have Pets & most pets are house-trained and often look after the property better than some tenants!

I would not hesitate recommending this Hotel to others!

Hi I have no complaints about the Moon Raker in Parkes, any questions or help that I required they went out of their way to help.
Beer was cold good hearty Australian meals

I really enjoyed our stay at the Moonraker - we stayed there overnight on a journey from Adelaide to the northern coast of NSW. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and offered us a great walk-up rate. My partner and I shared a suite with my parents - it was like a regular hotel room, with an extra queen bedroom off of it. The pool was nice (although lacking slightly in atmosphere in the middle of the carpark!) and a welcome addition in the middle of an Australian summer. The restaurant looked nice (although we didn't use it), and I really have no complaints.
