Stayed just one night but there was absolutely nothing that could be faulted other than that I thought it a tad expensive but which could be justified by its proximity to Beaumont Street. Kris' hospitality was also five star.

Having never been to the Newcastle region before, The Chaucer Palms was a great find and DEVINE - in every respect. Their website is a true reflection of all things on offer. Modern / warm / restful / clean / mouth watering breakfast and really lovely hospitatlity - Thank you Kris.
P.s The Drinks & cheese platter delivered to your room on arrival are a really nice touch.

Stayed in many B&B's previously, particularly in UK and NZ. Kriss has put Chaucer Palms on to top of our list. Ambiance and style, plus location, location.

We just keep finiding excuses to keep on coming back to stay here . Great location for a trip to the Hunter Valley and just around the corner from all the restaurants and eateries in Hamilton. The breakfast is to die for and the welcoming cheese platter on arrival with a drink is just another lovely touch. The hosts Kris and Bob are friendly and so welcoming and nothing seems to be too much trouble. The rooms are beautifully and the bathroom and spa bath is just a dream!
