We arrived at midnight. We are a family who regularly use cabins and we camp in our tent. This place was beyond imagining. Our older child suffers from Asthma and started wheezing as soon as we walked into the cabin. We are a family who doesn't mind basic, but this was lower than basic. The sheets were clean, but the place was crawling with insects (including spiders). There was a residue of smokiness although the cabin had a non-smoking sign on the outside and it was very musty. The kitchenette was in desperate need of replacing. I have stayed in many basic accommodations, but this was too much to bare. We left without staying although we had three young children in the car and nowhere else to stay. Luckily the Plantation Inn 30kms down the road was open. It was basic, needs alot of work but was under new management and was extremely clean and fresh for the same price of $100.00. The Glenwood owners can keep our $100 and put it towards some cleaning and maintenance_you should be ashamed of yourselves. I wouldn't let a homeless person sleep in that cabin. We have taken photos for proof of the dilapidated state of the cabin. !
