“Clean and comfortable room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2011

We used this motel for a one-night stopover for our family( 2 adults,2 kids) The Queen room is very good, bathroom excellent, the kids loved watching TV in bed with us.
The breakfast could be better(warmer) i would eat out on the way out next time.
The reception lady nearly over-charged us,as a family we cant afford confusion, need to write down the price you quote over the phone! For a travelling rep this would be the best accomadtion in town, overall for $236 we were happy, reckon you will be too.

Room Tip: Go for Queen or King rooms, newly renovated.

“Fabulous bathroom.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2011

Stayed overnight on interstate trip. The manager advised they had some 3 and 3.5 * rooms not yet renovated but I opted for 4.5 * room for $120. It was huge with 2 queen beds and an amazing bathroom with bath and separate shower and toilet cubicles. The kitchenette had an oven cooktop and dishwasher and the room opened onto an enclosed courtyard.
Staff were polite and helpfull and my room service meal was excellent. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels.

“Convenient location but bathroom smells of feet”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 September 2011

Good points: friendly check in staff, rooms renovated (painted), guest laundry

Bad points: Bathroom smells of feet, thin walls (hear neighbors in bathroom), potholes in driveway, very drafty (wind whistles in under front door and out through bathroom - cold on this occasion)

Can't comment on food at this stage, not had breakfast.

“Clean & Comfortable.”

I don't normally leave the highway for Goulburn since the bypass, but a long and tiresome trip home, I decided to take a break.

Comfortable room, Clean and quite modern.

Ok, TV was not standard so had no cable... no big deal.

Beakfast in dining room, fine.

Late dinner from room service left a lot to be desired, but that's personal taste.

Would I stay here agin ? Probably.

“Basic accommodation for overnight Stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 September 2011

We stayed in the 3.5 star room overnight on our way to Sydney during August 2011. The room was very basic, but met our needs. We were disappointed that the pool was too cold and spa was not working. We didn't complain as we were there overnight and it didn't seem worth it. Breaky was a 2 for the price of 1 and this was ok also, but nothing to rave about. Again basic place to stay for the night if you need to stop on the way to Sydney.

Room Tip: Maybe go for the apartments if you want something a bit more modern.

Dear Pogo,

Thank you for your feed back.

I agree with your Room Tip. As well as our moderate priced accommodation, for a little extra we have our new 4 1/2 star units & apartments. Many of the newer units are easy access. A favourite with our Seniors.

VICKI"S TIP-don't forget to show your Seniors card at any Best Western property & ask about our Seniority Rate.

I have spoken to maintenance about your concerns with the pool temperature. Currently our pool is running on 23 degrees & our spa on 34 degrees.

Looks like you decided on one of our bed & breakfast packages. A great value alternative with breakfast in Cascades Restaurant. Juices, fruits, nuts, yogurts, cereals, a cooked selection, toast & freshly ground espresso is definately the way to start the day. Of course if you have a special request, we can try to accommodate that as well.

Regards,

Vicki Rabjohns - your host
