My first view from the Green cottage just took my breath away!! And when we met Jane.... Her friendly manner n warmth took away the fatigue of the long drive to Te anu. What a tasty welcome Brownie!!! And the next day had an early start to the day... So she packed us a Gormet picnic lunch, for a small cost!!! Turned out to be one of the best lunches we had in NZ!!! The rooms r spic n span n welcoming as well. Would love to come back!!!!

We very much enjoyed our stay for regretably only 2 nights in your wonderful green cottage. What a cozy perfect place to stay in such a beautiful surrounding, flowers blooming everywhere, situated in the middle of the lawn. We could watch the sheep from our cottage. What a peaceful impression, the perfect start for a trip to Milford Sound. We enjoyed the breakfast and the useful information you gave us for our daily trips. We also enjoyed feeding the lambs! We definitely will come back, next time we want to do the Doubtful track. Thank you for everything, making our trip an non-forgetable one.

Another slice of New Zealand heaven. We stayed in the green cottage for two days. Jane and Ross are fantastic hosts, they really make you feel welcome and are happy to chat about the local area. All the personal touches of home make this place a wonderful place to stay. Would live to come back!!!!

Stayed for ONLY 1 night with The McEwan family. We stayed in the blue cottage with it's lovely patio, wooden ceiling, comfy bed and spectacular view of Lake Te Anau. We had to leave super early and Jane prepared a huge feast for our breakfast.

If I go back to New Zealand, I would love to stay for a couple weeks at The Croft and hike all the nearby great walks (doubful, milford, routeburn, kepler etc) and maybe ask Jane and Ross if I could have the task of feeding the pet sheep (and lambs)!
